Meet Jacque Shaw

Hello and welcome! I’m Jacque Shaw—writer, artist, and proud Arizona resident, where I live with my wonderful husband and our close-knit family.

My love of storytelling began early, during cherished Saturdays spent at the library with my mother. We would search for new books, bring them home, and read them aloud to each other for hours. Those quiet moments, filled with imagination and connection, sparked a dream in me—to one day write stories of my own.

Art became a passion around the same time. At just 12 years old, I had the unique opportunity to attend a college-level art class in Dallas. It was there I discovered charcoal—its expressive, imperfect beauty captured my heart, and it’s been a favorite medium ever since.

As life moved forward, I chose to take a step back from my creative pursuits to focus on raising our four wonderful children. It was a joyful and busy chapter of life, but my love for writing and art never faded. Now, I’ve returned to those passions with a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude.
